REGISTRATION FEE: $25
This fee will secure your spot in the pageant. This fee is non-refundable under any
circumstances. The $25 may be paid via Paypal to mysticproductions@comcast.net

ENTRY FEE: $75
This fee enables you to compete for all titles and awards to be presented at the
17th Annual Miss Delmarva Pageant. This fee is paid in the form of cash at registration.

ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2009.

What will I have to do at the pageant?
Competition: On-Stage Self-Introduction (Approx. 30-60 seconds), and Appearance/Poise/Personality.
Makeup: Should be age appropriate and used ONLY to accentuate the contestant's natural beauty for ages 3-12. Think about using makeup that you would put on for a dance recital or cheer competition.
13-up can wear makeup in the style that they deem appropriate
Attire: Party Dress/Pageant Dress/Flower Girl For all age divisions up to age 10. Only one gown is required. Gowns may be short or long for all divisions up to age 10, however, it is suggested that younger contestants have a dress that is easy to walk in. Full Length Gown for ages 11-up.
Age Divisions:
We are accepting 10 contestants per age division.
4: Tiny Miss
5-6: Petite Miss
6-7: Little Miss
8-9: Young Miss
10-12: Junior Miss
13-14: Junior Teen
15-17: Teen
18-22: Collegiate (single/attending college)
18-up: Miss (single)
18-up: Ms (marital status not important, size 12 or larger)
20-up: Mrs. (must be currently married)
Ambassador: Division For Those Who Have Won All Possible Divisions or do not "fit" into a particular division.
NEW: MISS DELMARVA PRIDE: Contestants with the most audience and/or community support.
NEW: MISS DELMARVA SWEETHEART: Contestant collecting the most toys for Toys For Tots
REIGNING QUEENS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE, AS THEY WILL BE CROWNING THEIR SUCCESSOR. THEY MAY,
HOWEVER COME BACK THE FOLLOWING NOVEMBER AND COMPETE.
Requirements:
*All contestants must live, work or attend school in Delaware, Maryland or Virginia.
*Contestants must bring one new unwrapped toy to donate to "Toys For Tots."
*Each contestant is required to bring one, age appropriate (for your division) gift in a gift bag.
*All winners are required to stay after the pageant for photos.
*Winners must make at least 5 personal appearances throughout their reign, 4 of which will be
Mystic Productions Events.
*All winners are required to return in 2010 to crown their successor.
*All winners agree that no unflattering or suggestive photos will be posted on Facebook, MySpace,
Twitter accounts, personal websites, etc.
Violation of any of the above requirements may result in the loss of your title.
Prizes and Awards:
2009 Delmarva Queens:
Each age division titleholder will receive the official Miss Delmarva crown, satin embroidered sash, crown pin, beautiful engraved winners plaque, floral bouquet, appearance opportunities and numerous gifts from the group.
Runners-up: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th runner-ups will be awarded in each division pending there are
at least that number of contestants.
Heidi McDowell Golden Heart Award: A beautiful award
This contestant will be selected by the staff for having an outgoing, fun loving personality, just like our Miss Teen Delmarva 1994, Heidi McDowell.

This is the one contestant with the biggest cheering section in the audience.
EVERY CONTESTANT THAT HAS AT LEAST 5 PAYING ADULTS WILL BE ENTERED TO WIN THIS PRIZE!
IF YOU HAVE 10 PAYING ADULTS, YOU WILL BE ENTERED TWICE IN THE DRAWING.
IF YOU HAVE 15 PAYING ADULTS, YOU WILL BE ENTERED 3 TIMES IN THE DRAWING
IF YOU HAVE 20 PAYING ADULTS, YOU WILL BE ENTERED 4 TIMES IN THE DRAWING
Audience members will be counted when they enter the door.
ONLY ADULTS (paying the $10 admission fee)
are counted for the contestants number for the Delmarva Pride Award.
Have friends and famiy that want to show their support to you and the pageant but can't attend in person?
For EVERY $10 donation that you turn in at registration, you will be counted as having another audience member (even if they are not present). Therefore, if you get $50 in donations. You are counted as having 5 people in the audience, even if they can't physically be there. How do you win this award? Have your friends, family, local businesses join us for the pageant or send their monetary support. They may also send this support via our paypal address which is mysticproductions@comcast.net
THIS TITLE WILL BE SELECTED AT THE END OF THE PAGEANT, AND CAN GO TO ANYONE
(EVEN IF YOU WIN YOUR AGE DIVISION).

Entry fees and donations pay for the cost of producing the pageant such as venue rental, crowns, sashes, awards,
prizes, decorations, disc jockey, judge's gifts, advertising, website maintenance and miscellaneous expenses.
