Important Info
Scores are not distributed, but if you contact the director, April Brilliant, within 7 days following the pageant, we will email your scores and placement to you. Bad sportsmanship is NOT tolerated on any level from ANYONE! If poor sportsmanship is displayed from a contestant or family member, this may result in disqualification.
All contestants are required to bring ONE NEW UNWRAPPED TOY for Toys for Tots! No stuffed animals, please.
All contestants are required to bring ONE age appropriate gift. Please make sure the gift is in a gift bag labeled with your name and AGE DIVISION.
Queens are REQUIRED to make at least 5 appearances of their choosing throughout the year, and they must return on Saturday, November 14, 2009 to crown their successor.
All queens are REQUIRED to assist with other Mystic Productions Pageant Events at the Laurel Fire Hall in March, June and September.
Queens are allowed to compete in other pageant systems WITH PERMISSION from the director.
Queens WILL be allowed to have FACEBOOK and MYSPACE pages, however, the director must have access to these pages to make sure the pageant is being represented appropriately. All winners must accept the director as a Facebook or MySpace Friend.
MISS DELMARVA PRIDE TITLE We have a prestigious title, Miss Delmarva Pride, for the one contestant with the biggest audience in attendance or community support. Our hostesses will greet audience members at the door. Audience members must tell the hostess which contestant they are there to see. You get a point for every person in attendance (that pays the full admission price of $10). If you select the VIP seating, contestants with audience members in those sections will get double credit for each person they have sitting in that section.
Another way to add points for the Miss Delmarva Pride title is by community support. For every $10 dontation, you will receive credit as having ONE additional audience member there (even if they are not present).
For example...Susie collects $100 in donations. Therefore, she receives credit for 10 people (even if those individuals can NOT make it to the pageant itself).
This option works great for contestants that have family members and friends, that may live far away, or can not make it to the actual pageant due to previous commitments.
Please note that any Delmarva Pride donations will be turned in directly to the director when you register at the pageant. All contributions should be in the form of CASH ONLY. Have family and friends make checks payable to you, and then bring cash to the pageant.
Admission and Delmarva Pride donations cover expenses of the pageant, venue, awards, prizes, decorations, disc jockey, advertising, etc. These donations are NOT tax deductible, however, any business donating money to a contestant will receive a free website link for one year.
Registration Proceedure: Contestant (and one chaperone) will check in at the front table. Contestant will drop off Toys For Tots donation(s) and age division gift. Chaperone will pay admission and receive wristband/or stamp. You will then proceed to the director located at the judges table in front of the stage. Here, you will turn in any Delmarva Pride donations. You may then walk the stage for practice. After you feel comfortable, you may dress for the pageant. Everyone must be dressed and "ready to go" by 6:30 pm when the doors open to audience members.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH!
