Delmarva Pageant Rules & Regulations
The decision of the judges is final. Remember that this is the opinion of just a few people. We have a different panel of judges at every one of our events.
Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated. Bad sportsmanship on the part of a contestant, titleholder, parent, guardian, family member, friend, etc. will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification or the revoking of any awards or prizes received. Bad sportsmanship consists of degrading a winner, contestant, judge, director, staff, or the good reputation of the pageant. Should that pageant find that a person is degrading our system in any way, we reserve the right to take legal action.
Entry fees and admission is NON-refundable under any circumstance. Should a child be ill and not be able to participate, we will credit the entry fee to another one of our upcoming events. Admission is never refunded, and admission is charged through the entire event. If you are entering the building, you will be paying admission.
The Miss Delmarva Pageant/Mystic Productions/ Director, April Brilliant, staff or the Salisbury Moose Lodge is NOT responsible for any injuries or illness sustained before, during or after the event.
The Miss Delmarva Pageant/Mystic Productions/ Director, April Brilliant, staff or the Salisbury Moose Lodge is NOT responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items or awards before, during, or after the pageant. We inspect all awards before distribution.
Advertisements for other pageant systems can NOT be distributed at the pageant, without prior permission from the director. Any violation of this may result in disqualification. We want to protect our contestants, and make sure they are receiving info for only reputable systems.
Delmarva Baby titleholders are NOT required to make any appearances, however, they are welcome to do so. They are also welcome to recomplete the following year.
Delmarva Pageant titleholders are required to make a minimum of 5 appearances of their choice, plus a few set appearances that are designated by the pageant. One of those appearances is to crown their successor in 2012. Delmarva titleholders have the opportunity to compete for our Queen of Queens program.
The Delmarva Crown is ONLY to be worn with the Delmarva sash. Please do not misuse your crown by wearing it with another systems sash. Likewise, do not wear the Delmarva sash with any other systems crown.
The pageant reserves the right to give some of the prizes designated and the completion of the titleholders reign to ensure that the titleholder has represented the system.
If you should win a Delmarva title, you are allowed to compete in other pageant systems, with PERMISSION from the director. You must, however recognize that the Miss Delmarva Pageant title should come far and above any other title for the year.
